Occupation: Engineering Surveyor

Worked for leading mining company BHP Billiton Pty Ltd on project valued over 362 millions AUD.

The project includes civil works and bulk earthworks for:

- Construction of two Remote Crushing Stations (East and West) to service ore deposits. Each facility consists of a Run of Mine pad, primary and secondary crushers and transfer conveyors- Construction of two overland conveyors

- Construction of a coarse ore stockpile, including concrete vault floors, mechanically stabilised earth walls, pre-cast access tunnel sections, mechanical support structures and transfer conveyor into the scalping screening facility

- Construction of new tertiary crushing, scalping and product screening facilities and interconnecting conveyors to produce processed ore

- Construction of a stockyard facility including a new stacker and reclaimer for stockpiling and reclaiming the processed fines product

- Construction of a fines product sample station for sample collection of processed fines product

- Construction of two additional train loadout stacking conveyors and associated transfer station within the rail loop to transfer reclaimed ore from the stockyard to the existing train loadout facility

- Modification to an existing fines stacking conveyor and installation of a new bypass conveyor and associated transfer station, and

- Construction of new non-process infrastructure, including the new North-West Village and services to support the increased plant capacity.
